Hypnotherapy can be wonderful for both Carers and those that they Care for.
One word of advice in England and the UK in general, if you are going to select a Hypnotherapist please remember that the Hypnotherapy Industry is not regulated by Statutory Law. Therefore there are and can be many unregulated Hypnotherapists out there. However, there is now Voluntary Regulation and all the competent and capable Hypnotherapists must be signed up to and regulated by an Official Body. That Body in the UK is the CNHC. So please note well The Department Of Health Recommend That If You Are Looking For A Hypnotherapist You Consult With Someone That Is CNHC Registered. Here is a direct link to the CNHC www.cnhc.org.uk Speaking for myself it is essential for regulation. Voluntary regulation is a very welcome step. I am registered in full with the CNHC for Clinical Hypnotherapy. All competent, bona fide Hypnotherapists in this country will be signed up to not only the CNHC but also a Professional Organisation for Hypnotherapy such as the National Hypnotherapy Society, the General Hypnotherapy Register or the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy etc. This is essential for the public to know. You must select a Hypnotherapist that is signed up to and whose membership is current in the CNHC. This is to support and protect you in your use of Complementary Therapy. Thanks for reading.
